Wow - how do you encapsulate 25 years in a few paragraphs?
Went to UW-Madison Engineering out of JMM. Changed majors 3 times before going to MATC to get a commercial photography degree and starting a photography business in 1995. That quickly took off and I've been doing that ever since.
My son Connor just turned 13 and will attending Memorial next semester; the thought completely weirds me out! His little brother Ty will also be starting kindergarden this fall.
I do a lot of photography related travel for seminars and lecturers which is fun. It's a great excuse to get away and have conventions and other organizations pay for it! :) I've been fortunate to learn from some of the best photographers from around the world. I've been speaking on the national circuit and teaching seminars and workshops for the past 7 years, which has been very enjoyable... a lot of work, but rewarding. I also teach location lighting classes in the Photography program at Madison College.
Pierre's Portrait Art Co's has been in business since 1995 and my studio is on the eastside of Madison. We specialize in portraits and weddings, though I still do the occasional commercial and corporate assignment for select clients.
